Next.js is a web development framework based on React, the popular JavaScript library for building interactive user interfaces (created by Facebook). The brainchild of Vercel, Next.js offers a component-based approach to building client-side and server-side web applications.

Key Features of Next.js

Server-Side Rendering (SSR): Next.js supports server-side rendering, meaning pages are generated on the server before being sent to the client. This improves performance by providing pre-rendered pages with initial content for a faster user experience. You can test this on the site, where pages load instantaneously.
Client-Side Rendering (CSR): In addition to server-side rendering, Next.js also supports client-side rendering for parts of the application that require dynamic interactivity. This allows for the best of both worlds, offering a smooth user experience with instant interactivity.
Dynamic Routing: Next.js offers a dynamic routing system that makes managing routes and URLs in the application easier. It allows the creation of dynamic pages and optimizes the navigation experience for users.
Data Pre-Fetching: Next.js enables pre-fetching of data necessary for displaying a page even before the user takes any action. This improves performance by reducing load times and providing a more responsive user experience.
